I found this hanging in my cabin on the Carnival Ecstasy. One little maraca is clearly happy to be there, while the other one is in a state of great distress. I hope that the “happy” guy isn’t happy because he’s the cause of the sadness to the other one. You never know with maracas, though….

One of my students emailed me this today. He said he woke up this morning to discover his laundry basket smiling at him. I’m not sure if it’s really “smiling” at him or if it’s saying, “Get up and go to school before I reprogram your brain…”, but either way it made my student smile.

My daughter and I went with her bff to see the movie, Clash of the Titans. This little guy was on the sidewalk as we walked in the door. He looks a little angry, maybe a little crazy, but he’s still cute.

Fruity pickle smile
My daughter spotted this smile on another person’s plate on the cruise (Carnival’s Ecstasy).

Spoon smiles
Again from the cruise, my daughter placed her spoon on the plate. When she lifted it up, she saw that the chocolate sauce was happy to see her.

Mmmm... non alcoholic smile
My daughter recently returned from a cruise with her grandparents. The universe smiles at her, too. This one was in her virgin strawberry daiquiri.

Mmmm.... eggy goodness
A friend of mine found this online, but I’m not sure where she got it… If you find the source, let me know so that I can give the original photographer credit! Nothing says “good morning” like an egg that’s happy to see you!
