Spoon smiles
Again from the cruise, my daughter placed her spoon on the plate. When she lifted it up, she saw that the chocolate sauce was happy to see her.

Each morning I wake up to an overly happy toothbrush/toothpaste holder. How can I be in a grumpy mood with this guy grinning up at me every morning? Every morning, I giggle when I brush my teeth. Sometimes, I actually laugh out loud. I love it!

Ice cream always makes me happy, but imagine my surprise when my Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla seemed just as happy to see me! This is EXACTLY how it looked when I opened the lid. I did nothing but smile in return!

Several years ago I started to notice that the universe smiles at me. Wherever I looked, I saw inanimate objects grinning at me, and I appreciated the kind gesture from the gods above. Sometimes we get so bogged down in our daily troubles that we forget that the world really is a beautiful place. These smiles help me remember that.
